Not a great nights sleep, but clean and friendly staff
3.0The staff were friendly and helped with any requests that we had. The room was very clean and bed was decently comfy.
− While the hotel has its points, we unfortunately had a hard time getting a comfortable night's sleep. The property is located directly next to a busy motorway, so traffic noise is noticeable throughout the night. Because there is no air conditioning, the room gets quite hot if the windows are closed. However, opening them to cool down brings in the loud sounds of the cars and a strong farming odor from the nearby fields. The ceilings also seem a bit thin, as we could easily hear the guests upstairs walking around.For the price of the room, we expected a few more comforts. There was no mini-fridge to keep drinks cold, and the bathroom did not supply basic toiletries like shampoo or conditioner. Having to choose between a hot room or a loud, drafty one made it difficult to rest. At this price point, having these basic amenities and better climate control would make a big difference.
