Lovely traditional pub with a spacious apartment

Very warm welcome and the host was very accommodating. Lovely laid out apartment with plenty of space, fantastic view from the bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious with a great shower. Plenty of food and choice for breakfast. The pub was a lovely, very traditional local pub.

− There was parking, but the pub was very busy and we were lucky on both days to actually park in the carpark as there was no dedicated parking for the two apartments.

A very pleasant stop in a tranquil, pleasant, timeless village.

The location was advantageous being in a peaceful village in deep countryside but not far from attractive towns such as Long Melford. The loft rooms were cosey, comfortable and very well provided. Scott and his wife were excellent hosts and most helpful and the meal was very enjoyable. The Queen's Head has plenty of character and agreeable ambiente.
