Tranquil Italian escape in stunning setting.
10.0A truly beautiful property which is set in a stunning quiet location giving memorable views at every turn. Extremely comfortable apartments furnished tastefully and sympathetic to the local area and landscapes. The most beautiful large swimming pool to cool down in and Shlomi and Ilana are just the perfect hosts! If you want a relaxing break in the Umbrian hills this is the perfect spot!

Beautiful property for a peaceful few days
9.0This is a beautiful and peaceful property. We had everything we needed at the property. We stayed in September and whilst the day was hot, the evenings were cooler. The owners advised on how to keep the property cool and it worked. Also there is a fan if you might need it. The pool area is heavenly. Gorgeous views. Recommended.

6.0The Casarciccia is an oasis of peace and quietude. A spacious, beautifully designed garden with wonderful lavender scents and a large swimming pool, with widely spaced seating areas. Everything at Casarciccia is aimed at the peace and privacy of the guests (there are no families with small children allowed and our request whether our friends, who live in the area, could drop by to see our accomodation was met with hesitation). Our apartment was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean (you are asked to keep the door closed at all times to keep mice and insects out and not to fry meat or fish in the kichenette).
− I was alone in the apartment (my husband was away for a day's hike in the mountains) and I was about to get in the shower, when there was a knock on the door, that was half open. I quickly wrapped myself up in a bath towel; it was the owner, who immediately stepped in our apartment. He brought a receipt for a minor administrative issue. We chatted for a little while and he left. A few minutes later, just as I had finished showering, there was a knock on the door again. I wrapped myself in the bath towel; it was again the owner, who again immediately stepped into the apartment. He offered me a bottle of wine (made by himself with grapes from Casarcicca). I thanked him and as we chatted he kept touching my arm and then said, 'we haven't seen a nice lady like you for a long time here. We can offer you a massage at some point this week?' I said l: no thank you and he left. (I checked Casarciccia's website and did not find the possibility of professional massages). I was quite upset and my husband was furious when he heard about it. We will not come back here.
Paradise in Umbria
10.0Casarciccia is paradise in Umbria. The location, the accomodation, and the view are all amazing. Shlomi and Ilana are wonderful and kind hosts who are delightful to spend a spring evening with on the terrace tasting their beautiful wine, discussing the colours of Umbria and humanity's place in nature. It is also the perfect base to explore the medieval hill top villages that surround you here. Do yourself a favour and spend some perfect days in Umbria at Casarciccia.

Exceptional
10.0Casarciccia is a piece of paradise! A real must for those who want to enjoy peace and quiet and the beautiful views of the landscape full of vineyards, sunflowers and olive trees. An ideal base to visit the beautiful towns of Umbria. We have travelled a lot in Italy and stayed at many beautiful places, but this place is absolutely no.1. The accommodation is beautiful, just like the pictures on the website, even better. The estate itself is breathtaking. The pool with spectacular views. We stayed here for 8 nights and never got tired of it. Fantastic! The hosts are super friendly people, very helpful. Not pushy, always there and yet not. A lesson in slowing down and enjoying live! We enjoyed a wonderful evening of wine tasting and antipasti. The guided tour of the vineyard with the accompanying explanations and the story of the history of the estate were fascinating. Casarciccia has found a place in our hearts. If we are lucky enough to stay healthy ... we will definitely return. Sabrina & Thierry
