Quaint Village w/o a Grocery Store and Lomond View is Close to the Railroad Station

Ladybank is a quaint village with friendly people and not much to do. Lomond View is an easy walk from the railroad station and was clean but Peter did little to make the place feel welcoming. We had a lovely evening at the Golf Inn Restaurant where Craig (the owner) will great you with a handshake and a smile. He serves typical pub food with pride and the people watching was fabulous.

− Remember leaving a spec of food in the container so you could not be accused of "having the last bite?" That was the amount of coffee waiting for us. No paper towels, etc. and Ladybank does not have a store so come prepared if you do not have a car.

The host Peter was exceptional throughout our stay always at the end of the phone helping us out.

The host Peter was what can be described as sensational! He was available for any occasion and he even came out of his way too show us how to work the heating. This is why we will continue too book with Booking.com as people like Peter are few and far between, personal thanks from me and my family for his help.

− Rubbish outside property could have been collected prior to our stay but other than that it was good

It was great for myself, my mum and her husband. All on one level which was great for my disabled, elderly mum. Comfortable beds, nightstand, lamp, set of drawers and a wardrobe in the bedrooms, bathroom with bath and shower, kitchen well equipped, everything you’ll need. Living room was comfortable and spacious. Views from the back of apartment are spectacular of the lomond hills, My mum was born and grew up in Auchtermuchty, brought so many memories back, we stayed to be close to Auchtermuchty as we were visiting family and close friends.

Functional apartment in quiet area of Ladybank

Very large apartment, really nice rooms, good working bathroom and great location. Its an old property downstairs flat. Very big garden next to a great playground. Very quiet place in Ladybank 50mins drive outside of Edinburgh 30mins drive to St Andrews and Dundee. Fabulous deer park 6min drive, Fife zoo nearby and carnie fruit farm worth a visit. If your looking for somewhere quiet and functional it does the job! We stayed 6 days probably a bit too long but all OK.

− Spots of mould on bathroom ceiling over one side which needs repainting with mould resistant paint and then the place would be great! and a notable amount of fruit flies around in the kitchen probably due to it being summer time which fly into your drinks/food but again just this time of year but this annoyed me. Limited knifes and forks and spoons and mugs, plates etc.. to use but a lot of other kitchen equipment. No soap, washing up liquid or bin bags at the property but a shop within a 6 min walk, we arrived late via plane and were lucky to walk to the shop before 10pm. You need to go out and get supplies but all good generally. Very helpful owner 😊 😀

Property was comfortable and was as advertised with a private parking. An hour’s drive to Edinburgh.
