Great villa in a quite silent area - rental car recommended due to the location

Overall the villa was great. The building looks great from the outside and the pool is nicely located and has enough shadow from early afternoon up to the evening (late August). The area is pretty quiet as there are only other villas around. The pool was clean and didn't smell or anything.

− In the region you only have 2-3 restaurants up close. If you walk around 15-20 Minutes down the beach you reach some other restaurants as well. There are 1-2 smaller supermarkets nearby but we would highly recommend getting a rental car. This way you can also reach some local supermarkets that are cheaper and have a bigger portfolio of goods. Without a rental car you need to walk quite a lot which isn't that nice especially in the summer heat. The villa itself was pretty much like on the pictures but the furniture on the outside wasn't exactly like on the pictures. The two big couches on the inside are comfortable but also had some blankets on them to protect the upholstery - which isn't bad but takes away the good look from the pictures. You can clearly feel that the villa isn't that new as especially the bathrooms have some clear signs of wear (damaged furniture due to constantly high humidity / water damages). It was nothing particularly bad but it doesn't look as good as on the pictures anymore.

Nice clean accommodation. Nice size pool, good sized room's.

− We stayed at Villa Anna Litchi from 21st–31st August 2025. While the property itself is beautiful, our holiday was unfortunately overshadowed by persistent neighbour interference that made the experience extremely stressful. From the very first day, a neighbouring resident repeatedly complained about completely normal, daytime family activity — our children simply laughing and playing in the pool (no loud music, no evening noise). We even found ourselves asking the kids to keep their voices down in the pool just to avoid further conflict, which is the opposite of what a relaxing family holiday should be. We felt constantly monitored and harassed, to the point where we left the villa most days just to avoid further tension. The most alarming incident was when this neighbour actually entered the villa grounds and approached the pool area while our children were alone. We had only briefly popped inside to get refreshments, and our children are of an age where being left alone for a few minutes is entirely appropriate. This was nevertheless a serious invasion of privacy and extremely distressing. Shockingly, when we raised this, we were told we should have contacted the local police — but who wants to spend their holiday dealing with that? When we raised these concerns with the management, we received no meaningful support or resolution. Despite explaining how disruptive this was, no alternative accommodation was offered, and ultimately no compensation or acknowledgement was given. We feel strongly that this villa should not be advertised as “family friendly” when a known resident next door is intolerant of normal daytime use of the pool. In fact, this villa may not be appropriate for adult groups either — especially if you intend to use the BBQ in the evenings, enjoy some light music, or simply have group conversations, which could easily be noisier than children playing in the pool.
