It was welcoming from the moment we arrived. We had an early start on one day so they cooked breakfast earlier than advertised.

− Uncomfortable mattress Couldn't flush toilet in the morning Food: Chicken Tikka portion size too small, husband was left rather hungry. My Scampi were mushy. Breakfast: coffee machine coffee was lukewarm. No fresh orange juice as advertised, we were served an orange squash.....I questioned the lovely lady providing the breakfast who said that they don't serve fresh OJ. I could purchase a fresh one.....she had addressed this issue before with her boss without success. As the breakfast is included in the room price it would appear that we have to be happy with what we're given.....

Little gem of a B&B come locals pub nestled in a very lovely residential area. Staff and locals welcomed us and we all had a fantastic stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who catered for all our needs. Thank-you

A fantastic find for us when we wanted to stay for one night before getting the ferry to Calais. We even joined in the quiz in the pub below. Friendly staff and v comfy bed

Erg vriendelijk personeel. Lekker ontbijt in een originele pub. Kamer was voorzien van een mooie badkamer en er was een hoek met koffie en thee. Ideale locatie voor een vroege oversteek met de ferry naar Calais.

− De kamer was erg warm door een paar hete dagen. Geen airco. En met het raam open slapen was rumoerig vanwege de uitgang van de pub. Al met al zijn we een ervaring rijker.
