Got locked out since key card failed, visible mold, and electricity failed

Close to the station

− The place was not well ventilated with visible mold. The key card stopped working and I could not enter. The electricity went out as well.

Fab location, great adventures from a wonderful base!

It was in a great location. We loved the views. It was easy to get in. The property was quirky and we loved the noise, part of the experience! We had a little friend hanging out underneath, see if the crane is there next time you visit!

− It would have been better to have a more distinct separation between the bathroom and the rest of the property. Otherwise it was great!

Amazing stay in one of Amsterdam's most unique apartments

I stayed here for 2 nights on my own and absolutely loved the experience. The location is incredibly unique and made my time in Amsterdam feel really special from the moment I arrived. Waking up on the water with the city around you is something completely different from staying in a normal hotel. The room was beautifully designed, very clean, and surprisingly comfortable considering the compact space. Everything felt thoughtfully laid out and high quality. It was also very peaceful at night, which made it perfect for relaxing after exploring the city all day. I especially appreciated how easy it was to get around Amsterdam from here (Noordpark Train Station is literally a 30 second walk away) while still feeling slightly removed from the busiest tourist areas. The whole concept is just really memorable and ideal if you want something a bit different and more characterful than a standard hotel. For a solo trip it was perfect, and I’d happily stay again next time I’m in Amsterdam.

− The curtains are quiet thin and don't do a great job of blocking out light - which isn't a problem if you're an early riser, but this could be improved. It's also right at the central point of a busy road, which means you will hear allot of traffic. Again, not a problem if you're used to the ambient noise of a city and traffic. But, if you're a light sleeper you might have an issue here although they provide ear plugs on arrival.

The amount of thought put into the place. There was nothing that seemed unnecessary, yet I didn't feel like there was something missing.

− The thought on having to rely on a digital key which I had to download an app for stressed me out. I only used the app to enter the building for the first time. What if my phone runs out of battery? What if it doesn't have NFC? I'd consider it a nitpick, but it's the only thing that comes to mind, really.

Fantastic but not enough value for money.

− The check in time is very late: 4pm. So very uncomfortable if you travel internationally. And they want a very large sum to accommodate you even 1-2 hrs before
