Excellent place to stay. With lovely staff.

We only stayed for 1 night as we were visiting Highclere. Staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived and during our stay. Our rooms were lovely. Spotless, nice bedding, nice towels. Good size ensuite again, very clean with all toiletries. Decent shower. We had booked a table for dinner before we arrived. Our food was lovely. Nothing was too much bother for the waiting staff. We are a picky pair with food. We ordered just tea and toast for breakfast again, no bother with this. You could have whatever from the menu. Would definitely recommend this lovely pub with its beautiful thatch roof if you are in the area

Generally staff above average pleasantry

− This is a question for booking.com as tried to email you (booking.com) but gave up. So I invite booking.com to respond. I clearly put with 1 cat nothing communicated to the hotel . Why ? I invite booking.com to respond. This is not the first time this happened. Didn't happen a few years ago my guess the software behind the booking system. Staff at the hotel no problem with the pet and they shared my frustration
