8.0Friendly staff, room was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable and good pillows.
− Smoking in the poker machine area. The smell was overpowering for us none smokers. We didn’t stay in there and play.

8.0The Tavern isn't fancy but it felt secure as a lone traveller and was clean and comfortable. Shower was hot, beds were comfortable and the linen was good. It was 15 minutes walk from the Blacktown station and there is a restaurant in the Tavern.
− There is no overnight supervision of the venue. It did not feel unsafe but I always feel better when there is someone available if there was a problem (which there was not).
