The staff were so kind and helpful. When we arrived with our elderly dog and were shown to our room, they very kindly swapped us to a more suitable room without any fuss. The room was well-equipped for dogs, with bowls, wipes, a pee pad, and a crate provided. The ryokan is in a beautiful location; rural and right by the water, but still only a 5-minute drive to a convenience store and shops and restaurants in the nearby town. There’s also a lovely viewpoint (Yokoyama Viewpoint) about a 10-minute drive away. We also joined the sunset cruise around Ago Bay, which was incredible, and the staff kindly accommodated a late dinner for us afterwards. The meals we had (breakfast and dinner) were both plentiful and really good. There was also a dog run and a wonderful onsen overlooking the bay.

− I had booked a "Japanese-Style Room with Shared Bathroom and Ocean View", but our initial room had a private bathroom and no ocean view. However, the staff very kindly moved us to another room that had an ocean view and was more suitable for my elderly dog. Some surfaces in our room were a little dusty, though this may have been due to our last-minute room change. The onsen water was also on the hotter side for my personal preference, though others may enjoy that. We felt a little rushed during dinner, though this might be because we had it after the sunset cruise, so it was after their last time slot.

海に浮かぶ雰囲気が最高でした。 宿全体は決して真新しい感じではないですが、リフォームも入っているのか非常にキレイな客室でした。 むしろフロントがある棟は、レトロな雰囲気で非日常感もあり、気持ちが高揚しました。 ご飯も美味しく、何よりも料金設定が良心価格なのも助かりました。 次回も是非利用したい宿です。

− 緑が多い地域ということもあり、施設内に多少の虫は見受けられました。 苦手な人は要注意かもしれません。
