Friendly local village pub in a beautiful setting.

Friendly, informally professional staff - natural, not "corporate". Great menu choices with proper English country food. Stewed steak was excellent - just a shame about seperate puff pastry lid.

Room was a little dated - wet room especially so - rusty marks especially around toilet brush...

The pub nice, room was ok could do with a deep clean. The noise outside was awful had one of the worst nights sleep. It was really warm and the windows do not open must. Ask for a fan but did not have any.
