Excellent lodge with beautiful gardens and food near to the airport

A really nice way to start and end a trip in Namibia. Especially good if you like beautiful gardens and interesting birds - it was full of rosy-faced lovebirds (a parrot), woodpeckers, loeries, babblers and more. Everything about Etango is excellent. Airport pick up was organised in advance. The rooms are great, with air con and nice facilities. The pool is well looked after. The food was wonderful - four courses, each delicious and high quality. When arriving back from my motorcycle ride around Namibia, I was too late for lunch, but one of the ladies made a lovely greek salad for me. And then I was driven to the airport at 6.30 in the morning. That was before breakfast started, so they gave me a packed breakfast. If you have time, it is definitely worth staying for more than a day at the start of a Namibia tour, as it is a great place to acclimatise and relax.

Easy booking and easy online payement. Great transfer from and to the airport. Nice spot, with a great garden and very friendly staff. Good food. Highly recommended

Great to sleep over, relax and more. Make you a dinner to remmember with cold drinks. Very close to airport but no aeroplanes noise and friendly manager takes you at 5 AM to airport without any problem.Thanks again!

Very convenient overnight stop over.

A very convenient stop over for the airport but everything is a bit shabby and need for a little TLC. Plumbing is awful with sewer and waste water sharing a common outlet so much gurgling and commotion. Towels and linen had seen better days , the shower heads need unblocking. Room safe couldn't be locked so useless. The staff were first class, friendly and cheerful in classic Namibian style. The food was standard fare and yes the steak was tough but tasty! The rooms and outbuildings were clean and orderly.

My daughter and I stayed at Etango Ranch Guest Farm at the end of a three-week trip to Namibia and Botswana. We wanted a place close to the airport for our flight home. We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds are lovely, our room was clean, and there was plenty of hot water. Internet access was also fine. The receptionist/cook was very friendly, made us feel welcome, and prepared an excellent dinner and breakfast for us. We were able to arrange an airport shuttle for any time we wanted. There is a nice common room where we waited between the checkout time and our shuttle. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Stay at Etango Ranch Guesthouse Etango Ranch was the perfect overnight stay before our flight. The staff were warm and welcoming, the setting peaceful with beautiful savanna views. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed. We loved the fresh, home-cooked meals—especially the early breakfast for travelers. Just minutes from the airport, Etango feels far removed from the usual airport hustle. Highly recommended for anyone flying in or out of Windhoek!
