Really enjoyed this unusual accommodation. Not for everyone but fun
8.0Quirky. A bit makeshift but that is the appeal.
− The heating was not working very well so it was a little cold. Poor lighting at night to get out if our room.
This is a wonderful magical place. The Bali styled spaces are relaxing and provide a unique experience.

− Parking was a bit tricky
Not what we expected
3.0There are some really lovely touches here, the outdoor shower was nice, the upstairs space felt airy with a beautiful tropical outlook, and the kitchenette had all the basics. The team were also kind and responsive throughout.
− The biggest issue for us was loud noise from the Garden Bar next door all night across both nights, including loud bass and vibrations inside the Garden Buree, which ultimately led us to cut our stay short. Management said the noise levels that weekend were not normal, so perhaps we were just unlucky. They offered complimentary entry and vouchers for the events at the start of our stay, which was thoughtful, but we had booked hoping for a slower, more peaceful escape rather than a backpacker/doof atmosphere. They did refund our unused nights, which we appreciated. Probably best suited to anyone wanting to be close to the buzz and Byron nightlife. I’d recommend checking what events are scheduled at the Garden Bar / Arts Factory before booking here.
