− Our ‘quiet weekend trip’ coincided with two birthday parties taking place, complete with some very happy, rather drunk merriment and even a karaoke (which could not be heard from our bedroom.
A fabulous hidden away gem of a place

− the only issue we had was the bed which was on the small size and was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that we were delighted with everything else

Enjoyable stay in a wonderful area.
8.0Staff are very friendly and make their guests feel welcome. They do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Food was outstandingly good. Bar area was cozy and friendly.
− I’d booked a sea view room in particular however due to a mix up I was put in a garden view room which was smaller and without the view I wished for. Unfortunately the staff were unable to move me into the room I had booked due to other guests being in there. Once I discussed this with the staff they were very apologetic and offered me my evening meal at no charge by way of compensation. I was pleased to accept this and had a very enjoyable stay. I will definitely return to The Gazelle but would ensure that a sea view room is available. I would also politely suggest that some areas could be cleaned more thoroughly in order to match the standards expected of such a lovely hotel.
Please note the bar and restaurant is open between 12 PM - 3 PM and then 5 PM - 8 PM check in time is 4 PM and check out 11 AM.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance.
