Great break away, relaxing, but a little pricey for what we got.
7.0Location and the staff.
− Rooms are starting to show their age, although they were comfortable. The floor heating in the bathroom was not working. Couldn’t sit on the balcony because there was poop on the table and chairs.

− Very rundown. Over priced. No self contained facility for meals which means you are captive to the restaurant facilities. Restaurant is good but wildly overpriced.

− Noisy heater that sounded like a Bell Jetranger starting up every 5 minutes. Got the distinct feeling that most of the staff apart from one - couldnt be bothered and guests were on the whole an inconvenience

− Pretty sketchy 5km dirt road to get there with no reception. Would recommend checking in/out in the daytime

Lemonthyme wilderness retreat is situated down an 8km gravel road. Please when coming to our resort take Dolcoath road as GPS may take you down Bull Creeks road which is now closed down as a 4X4 track only.
Please note upon your journey to our retreat google maps may be inaccurate. It may send you down a private property track. To ensure you are in the right direction please follow cradle mountain road and do not turn off until you reach Dolcoath road- this is an 8kilometre gravel road and has no turns, just follow it until you reach our property.
