Stop and drink and enjoy first class food.
7.0Lovely location. Super beer garden with fine views. Excellent cheese board. Very good chef by reputation (though we didn’t dine). The pub was generally very clean - including bedroom and bathroom.
− Bedrooms need a stylistic overhaul. There’s a confusing hotchpotch of design ideas. No seating in bedroom apart from bed(s). Some public areas are strangely cluttered.

Very good short stay
9.0Charm of old building. Inclusive basic breakfast made it better value than expected. Everything necessary in room. Good shower. Good bed. Two very good dinners. Pleasant owners/staff. Super location to explore excellent motorcycling roads.
− Furnishings in room did job but not particularly attractive. Nothing to chain my motorcycle to in the car park - a solid rail somewhere would be great for motorcycles and bicycles.
