It was OK for a one night stay

The first thing I should say is it was very keenly priced and the village is beautiful, with plenty of eateries and pubs plus a hotel and village shop, all of which are within easy walking distance. We ate at The Findon Manor hotel, which was brilliant with a good menu and friendly staff.

− The are no cooking facilities at all; the electricity points are inaccessible and we could have done without the single bed, allowing the double bed to be centrally positioned rather than being jammed against the wall. The cushion flooring in the bathroom was poorly fitted, leaving a bump all along the floor. There was one dinner plate, 2 cups and plastic glasses and 2 teaspoons. The 2 nearby pubs are closed on Monday, which was the night we stayed.

Lovely location in a beautiful village.

− We stayed in the heat wave and was extremely hot and the vans that were provided made an awful noise and the air conditioning unit supplied only blew out warm air.
