La maison et ses extérieurs

− Nous avions demandé une chambre au calme. Nous avons certes été surclassés par ces soins, ce qui était une attention appréciable, mais cela n’a malheureusement pas compensé le reste de l’expérience. Il est noté que les chambres sont climatisées or il faisait 30 degrés lorsque nous sommes arrivés. Dès 8h30, nous avons été réveillés par les portes qui claquaient dans les couloirs ainsi que par l’aspirateur du service housekeeping. Difficile dans ces conditions de parler d’un séjour reposant. Le petit-déjeuner a également été une grande déception. Bien qu’il soit annoncé comme étant servi jusqu’à 9h30, notre arrivée à 9h20 a manifestement posé problème. L’hôtelier nous a indiqué à peine quinze minutes plus tard qu’il allait fermer et qu’il fallait que l’on parte. Nous avons donc eu le sentiment d’être pressés et de déranger, ce qui n’est pas l’expérience attendue lorsque l’on séjourne dans un hôtel. Quant au petit-déjeuner lui-même, il était de très mauvaise qualité : choix extrêmement limité, viennoiseries dures et de la veille.. bref peu appétissantes. Au vu du prix demandé, le rapport qualité-prix est très loin d’être à la hauteur. Enfin, nous n’avons pas trouvé l’accueil particulièrement chaleureux ni accueillant. Dans l’ensemble, une expérience décevante que nous ne renouvellerons pas.

Comfortable room, fantastic garden and outside eating area, great host. Private parking with locked gates on a night.

− No air conditioning, and we stayed during a 38 degree heat wave, however a portable air con unit was provided

Le cadre...Un petit côté Hercule POIROT. Les patrons arrangeants.

− - La chambre, vraiment trop petite et sans âme, - le chiotte trop petit et "chlostrophobique", pour pouvoir s'asseoir ou se relever sans ouvrir la porte. ( 1m85) - le porte-bagages dans la salle de bain au carrelage suranné. - L'autre porte-bagages, une tablette au dessus du radiateur occupée par le ventilateur. - Le parc sans endroit où s'asseoir. L'accès à l'Indre bloqué par les broussailles... - Le petit-déjeuner pas fameux, avec peu de choix malgré ses viennoiseries de la veille ou de l'avant-veille... Je ne connais pas mais émet quelques doutes quant aux critères d'attribution des étoiles.
