Compact but characterful rooms that are to the rear of our sister pub the paper mill inn. They have the advantage of not being directly above the Inn, so only really susceptible to noise from the guests that you come with. The rooms have their own ensuite and entrance but can only be booked as this one unit. Not recommended for very young families as each of the rooms have separate external entrances.

9.0Extraordinary village / rural location yet so convenient for both Manchester and the Peak District attractions. The food was excellent and dinner service the fastest that I have experienced anywhere. Food and drink not over priced for the quality either. Beer garden absolutely beautiful!
− The weather was very hot during my stay and I would have appreciated a fridge in my room. My room was above the bar in the Paper Mill Inn, fine on the Thursday evening, but rather noisy with drinkers outside right under the window. Would request a room in The Old Hall next year.

Please note that this property consists of of two buildings, The Old Hall and The Papermill Inn. The rooms available can be located in either the old or new building but are of the same standard.
Please note, guests may experience some noise disturbances in the rooms located above the Paper Mill Bar.
