The Northwood Hotel offered a comfortable, reasonable stay with good facilities
7.0The owners of the Northwood Hotel were extremely friendly, interesting people who provided huge amounts of local knowledge, maps, attraction details and guidance and are committed to providing a good experience for their guests. It is an interesting old building which appeared to have been modernised to some extent some time ago and is in need of redecoration but this did not affect the comfort and functionality of all the facilities. We would return because it is fairly priced and the location is ideal in terms of access to the beach and local restaurants.
− Although the range of breakfast items was large, some of the cooked items were under or overdone and cold which was surprising as there was only one other guest on each of the mornings we were there.
Nice B&B with welcoming hosts
8.0Clean and comfortable. Met on arrival and shown to our room. Drinking facilities provided with proper mugs and some biscuits (thank you!) nice large breakfast room with a lovely breakfast and advice on where to go that day if we had no plans.

− Room was very warm even when opening the window. However it was exceptionally hot outside and we should probably have asked for a fan

10.0The room was spacious and clean. They also provided toiletries , which were really useful. The breakfast in the morning was also very delicious. The hotel has streets parking as a well as off street parking. The plays is also very close to the beach , which was not very crowded.
