Communication b/w hotel & expedia needs to improve

We had reservation at this hotel in oct for 5 days, 1st time in dubai. We got to the hotel at 2.30 am in the night. Staff member at reception said they don't have any reservation for us from Expedia. Still gave us the room saying matter will be resolved in the morning after the staff who deals with expedia reservation arrive. 7 am in the morning when we were still sleeping they called us in the room and insisted we go to the reception to resolve the matter as it was urgent. So I and my wife dress up and go the reception to find out that they never confirmed the reservation to Expedia so system did not show it, we were shocked to here this and tense as well. Finally after explaining them that it wasn't our fault they let us stay in the hotel charging us the same amount that we had made the initial booking with. Thanks a lot London crown hotel for accommodating us. We realized that the quality of facilities changed drastically from day to day. Torn towels to no Internet connection inside the room, even after complaining many times, as if they just turn off the router if they wish too.

The hotel location is very very convenient. Staff are very courteous. Rooms are clean. Better for business visitors and short term visitors.

Very satisfied with our stay at the London Crown - sometimes confused with the London Crown 2. Great location and helpful staff. Would certainly recommend as a great budget hotel to explore the city from.

Semplicissimo albergo ideale per visitare la città

L'albergo è ben ubicato nel quartiere di Bur Dubai, a due passi dalla più importante stazione della metropolitana, ideale per raggiungere sia Downtown Dubai e i grandi Mall da un lato, che la parte antica della città, quella che insiste sul Creek, che tra l'altro è facilmente raggiungibile anche a piedi. Si trova vicinissimo al Burjuman Mall, dove ci sono vari posti dove mangiare, anche se il Mall è meno bello dei più famosi di Dubai. Purtroppo la zona non è un granchè, ma si paga meno rispetto alle zone più esclusive sul mare e vicino ai grandi Mall. Detto questo, l'albergo potrebbe essere tenuto meglio. Il personale è al livello dei grandi alberghi, sempre presente e disponibile. L'albergo è semplice. La tappezzeria e i letti sono pieni di macchie, molto al di sotto delle aspettative! Bagno non pulitissimo. stanza 310 affaccia su un cantiere, ma anche dagli altri lati non ci sono grandi panorami.

This hotel was excellent for the price.on a busy road but not too noisy inside. Close to metro link so location ok despite being not in centre. Good breakfast, helpful staff, clean and comfortable.

God standard

Det var et meget standard hotel, men af god kvalitet. Der var en byggeplads udenfor vores vindue, hvilket var larmende til tider. Hotellet passer fint til prisen.
