Hotel and reception needs improvement

We stayed in room #8 and it was clearly not finished. Other rooms had a TV while ours had wires hanging from the wall. The sink area was not finished. When it is complete, it will probably be nice. Attention was paid to decorations. Bed was comfortable and heating was good. We also found hair on the bed so better cleaning is needed. Not very friendly lady who runs the hotel. It seemed we were bothering her. The lady who makes breakfast is really nice and accommodating. Also, we were charged in Chilean Pesos at a price that ended up being $10 USD over the quoted price we reserved on Hotels.com. We didn't notice this to later as we were in a rush to catch our bus. With some work, this place could be lovely.

Not a pleasant stay

We stayed here before and after our trek. After, the lady running the place offered laundry service. However, she kept delaying when it was going to be finished. We gave her one load to do but clearly it was mixed with other clothing. The next morning, she was no where to be found and we were scrambling to find all our articles of clothing with the help of the lady who makes breakfast (who was very sweet). Worse of all, when the lady was called over, she seemed upset that I was bothering her to find all of my clothing before leaving. Many other places have much friendlier people running their hostels and actually seem to enjoy the hospitality business. Not the case here. Room was unfinished. Shower door was broken. Unfortunately this place needs improvement. The facilities have good potential.

Noisy and dated room, although with good management and breakfasts. This was the cheapest private room with private bath I could find in Puerto Natales, so I guess you get what you pay for (although the management was very pleasant and the breakfasts good!).
