Great place to stay but needs to make some changes
9.0Amazing property and amazing baths and spa. Ibex roam the facility in early morning and use the nearby tunnel to pass over the road to the high country after their visit.
− The property is a death trap in case of a fire. There are bars on any windows you could escape from and cliffs on the sides without bars. I’m a professional firefighter and properties like these kill so many people and sadly afterwards they update the fire codes. The stairs aren’t accessible to most of the rooms if the fire starts below them. To make matters worse they block the main entry and exit doors with locked iron gates. No fire sprinklers which is fine as long as people have alternate routes out but they don’t. It’s just a matter of time before this place kills a lot of people.

Please note that the Stelvio Mountain Pass is closed from October until mid June. This means that you will have to take a longer alternative route to reach the property.
