5.0The convenience to UNC. It's pet friendly, so if visiting in the future, good to know.
− It smelled like cigarettes, very stale. The pool was very small. The cushions were dirty at the pool. The staff on Wednesday 7/8 was quite rude and appeared to have their child assisting at the front desk. When asked about a difference in the charge I received on that day vs the booking charge and getting an itemized bill she said "you will get that upon check out", with no desire to explain that it was a temporary hold. The lady the next morning was very polite explained everything and apologized. It appeared the bar was closed, not saying I would have utilized it, but if we decided to stay there in the future, if our daughter chooses to go to school here, it might be nice to be able to have a drink after a long day. The showers are also very small, and for 2 people, especially ladies there should always be 4 towels included. We made due and didn't want to deal with requesting more for a one night stay, but if it had been longer, it may have been a different story. They also had lots of candy, etc, appeared to be free to my 17 year old, I told her it probably wasn't. It didn't have any type of pricing, marking "for purchase", how would you know? If these items are for sale they need to be labeled as such or obviously they will be there for the taking. Just from an observant eye and a very nieve teenager.
