The issues far outweighed any benefit and we were let down by failure to fix the issues.
4.0The location was excellent and the staff in the hotel across the street were very helpful on reception but couldn’t solve any of our issues.
− The electric shutters in the bedroom were broken and couldn’t be raised. We were told on arrival that they had tried to fix this and the problem would be resolved asap. No-one came near us all week to look at this and it was very obvious from the debris on the piece that had been removed that this problem had been ongoing for a long time. We should have been informed before arrival as this made the bedroom so dark that electric light was always required and the exit doors could not be used. The bath was rusted in places and this problem had also been ongoing for a while. (See photos below) The step into the apartment was rough and a trip hazard. The door key didn’t always work on both the front door and the outside gate. A member of hotel staff came to look but was unable to resolve this issue. The outdoor areas were unkempt and needed attention. The apartment itself was basic but clean. It lacked character and attention. We cannot understand how this is advertised on Booking.com as a quality rating 9.2 and 4 star and feel very let down by this system.
