7.0Die Lage ist sehr gut!
− Die Bilder haben das Zimmer freundlicher und ansprechender wirken lassen, als es tatsächlich war. Vielleicht ist dies auch dem zwischenzeitlichen Markenwechsel (von Fable zu Mövenpick) geschuldet gewesen. Es gab auf jeden Fall keinerlei Farbakzente durch Kissen, Tagesdecke, Blumen oder ähnliches. Das Zimmer wirkte dadurch sehr nüchtern und trostlos. Ebenso war der Check-in überraschenderweise sehr nüchtern. Überraschenderweise deshalb, weil wir auf unserer Reise in Neuseeland bislang sehr viel Freundlichkeit, Herzlichkeit und Interesse erlebt haben. Dass ausgerechnet in einem Mövenpick-Hotel der Check-in extrem funktional und ohne jegliche "Wärme" eines guten Gastgebers gehandhabt wurde, wunderte uns. Wir haben gefragt, ob es in unserer Kategorie ggf. auch Zimmer mit Badewanne gäbe und ohne einen Blick in die Buchungen bzw. den PC wurde mitgeteilt, dass alle Zimmer mit Badewanne ausgebucht seien. Kein "ich prüfe gerne" oder "ach wie schade, nein, tut mir leid, davon haben wir nur sehr wenige und die sind tatsächlich alle gerade ausgebucht"... Auch sonst gab es kein Lächeln, keine Rückfrage nach der Anreise oder ob man noch etwas für uns tun könne. Alles nichts Verwerfliches, aber nachdem wir überall viel Besseres erlebt haben, trübt es hier eben den Eindruck.
