It has a number of facilities and I used a couple; good spa and treatments in a recently built large spa and a cookery course which was well hosted and lead by Ian. The Castle Bar's mixologist is a star. I heard dissent about the lack of dining options on Monday and Tuesday nights but the food was good and breakfast excellent. Room was great with magnificent views. Great parkland and range of facilities

The room was tired especially the carpet which had lots of marks on it. Bed also needs replacing. Excellent bathroom. Housekeeping in the room needs stepping up. Great walking paths.

It is a beautiful and relaxing place and with historical importance. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a bit expensive but then it is very big. If you have big appetite maybe it is worth it.
