An Extraordinary Eco-Luxury Escape
9.0Our 10-day stay at Constance Ephelia was nothing short of extraordinary. From the lush nature, pure air, and pristine white-sand beaches to the flawless organization and beautiful villa quality, every detail was handled with perfection, even when seamlessly extending our stay. Special recognition goes to the incredible team who made our trip unforgettable: Godwick (Personal Butler): For his proactive touch, flawless coordination, and making our entire stay feel utterly effortless. Chandra: For his incredible warmth, attention to details, and going the extra mile to organize our villa and extend our stay without a hitch. Anthony: For his attentive beach service. Hard working, he had our sunbeds ready at the exact same time every day, kept our drinks and delicious banana chips coming, and always served us with a warm smile. Sampath & the Corossol Team: Sampath manages Corossol brilliantly. He is attentive, hardworking, present, and creates a welcoming atmosphere. He notice everything and run to the guest to help and satisfy their expectations. The buffet variety is outstanding—from authentic Indian curries and fresh naan to flavor-packed Creole specialties. We were blown away when the chefs remembered our villa number and exact omelette orders every morning without us having to ask! A massive thank you to the kitchen team for accommodating my sister's dietary restrictions with such care. The Moroccan chef created dedicated gluten-free sides for her, and the pastry chef baked a fresh, custom gluten-free and eggless chocolate cake from scratch in just 10 minutes! Special thanks to Nancia, Hakeem, Nanto, Trisha, and the entire team for their unmatched warmth, right down to the heartfelt farewell from Temby at security. Traveler Tip: Be sure to book the specialty restaurants early! We dined at every single outlet on the property, and each offered a unique, superb culinary experience. Constance Ephelia has set a new standard for luxury hospitality.

Beautiful location, but deeply disappointing service — I would not recommend for families
1.0Beautiful location, but deeply disappointing service — I would not recommend for families
− We chose Constance Ephelia specifically because it is marketed as a luxury, family-friendly resort, and unfortunately our experience has been extremely disappointing. The natural location is absolutely beautiful, but a beautiful setting cannot compensate for poor service, frustrating logistics and an experience that does not feel remotely five-star. One of our biggest frustrations has been simply getting around the resort. The property is enormous and guests are therefore dependent on the resort shuttles. Unfortunately, we repeatedly found drivers sitting on their phones, shuttles unavailable when needed, or drivers refusing to take us because our destination was apparently in the “opposite direction.” We eventually became so frustrated that we paid to rent bicycles simply to move around the resort comfortably. I find it very difficult to understand why guests at a resort of this level should have to pay extra for bicycles because the hotel’s own transportation system is unreliable. It felt particularly unreasonable travelling with a 3-year-old. The restaurant experience was another major disappointment. From the day we arrived, trying to make reservations at the à-la-carte restaurants was incredibly difficult because we were repeatedly told that restaurants were already fully booked. If a resort accepts a certain number of guests, there should be sufficient restaurant capacity for those guests to actually dine somewhere other than the main buffet. Unfortunately, the main buffet restaurant was one of the weakest parts of our stay. We found the food bland, tasteless and nowhere near the quality we expected from a resort at this price point. However, the incident that upset me most happened at the restaurant with my 3-year-old son. He was playing with another child at an unused table.
A Little Piece of Paradise.
9.0The hotel is set within many acres of beautiful grounds and offers access to two main beaches, the North Beach and the South Beach. This was our second stay at the hotel, and the North Beach was one of the main reasons we decided to return. You can snorkel directly from the beach and enjoy a variety of water sports, including stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and pedalos. It is also a wonderful place to watch the most amazing sunsets. Beyond the beaches, it is possible to go for small hikes within the hotel grounds. The food was another highlight of our stay. Breakfast was lovely, with a great variety of options to suit every taste, ranging from Indian curries and Chinese soups to more traditional European choices, including a full English-style breakfast. The restaurants also offer amazing food. What truly makes the hotel special, however, is the staff. They will do everything possible to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as they can, and they are without a doubt the true asset of the hotel.
− The reservation process was a little confusing. We are not sure whether the issue was with the hotel or Booking.com, but after making our reservation, we were informed that the room we had booked might not be suitable for our family of three and that we might not be comfortable there. In the end, everything worked out. However, during the reservation process, the communication felt considerably less friendly and welcoming than the service we experienced once we arrived at the hotel, where the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Amazing stay!

Memorable
10.0The spread and quality of breakfast was fantastic, we were spoiled for choice, the beaches within the resort were beautiful and provided for any level of privacy / tranquillity required, I loved the gym and the possibility of going for an early morning run, the facilities in the room, the quality of the team at the resort is truly exceptional, beginning with Tembi right at the main entrance, Geraldine at customer relations to the team at breakfast, Peter, Hannah, Regina and Sampani. They made our anniversary celebration so special. Check in and check out were quick, warm, professional and efficient. Lovely integration of nature and peaceful surroundings. We would definitely return.
− The lack of availability of board games that one could take to your room, we had neighbours who smoked on the balcony which meant we could not stay out on it at the same time, but we managed. It is worthy to note that it is a bit of a distance from the airport. There is not a lot to do around (i.e. within the immediate vicinity) the resort but the activities within the resort more than made up for it. Charging for use of the bikes within the resort.
