Comfortable and Good Value
8.0The Cromwell Lodge is located on the west side of the town of Banbury. It is just over half a mile on foot from the railway station just across the busy A361 road. It is housed in a fine old building and whilst the fixtures and fittings are somewhat dated, it was more than adequate for our needs. Our twin room was quite small but the facilities within were decent enough. The bathroom contained a tub and there was plentiful hot water. There was sufficient storage space for clothing, tea & coffee making facilities plus an electric fan which kept the room nice and cool in the current sweltering conditions. We neither ate nor drank at the hotel as we were attending a wedding towards Daventry but enjoyed our stay. We passed £52 for a one night stay which constituted great value.

10.0Lovely communication between us before our stay, friendly staff the moment we turned up and during our stay. Lovely room, kept as cool as they could for us. Comfortable, clean and welcoming. We will stay again.

− The hotel was run down and bathroom facilities mouldy. Very cleanliness to be honest. Rooms sweltering hot and very poor night's sleep.. Far too much money for the quality of accommodation
