10.0I stay in a lot of hotels regularly and this was a real gem. I was honest with Mark the owner when I left saying there was absolutely nothing I could fault. How often can you say that! Rooms are amazing, very clean and comfortable with everything you could need, including lovely toiletries and a powerful fan (so appreciated in this heatwave). Mark is a great chef so eating there is really good and all locally sourced plus he has his own allotment. I would definitely recommend this place as Mark goes the extra mile to make it a great stay. Nothing seems too much of a problem. He even went out for oat milk for me which was much appreciated.

8.0Good location on a quiet road with on road parking. The evening meal was very good and the breakfast excellent. We particularly liked the individual toaster on the table so we could have toast when we wanted it, rather than going cold because it was served too soon! Also the fan in the bedroom was much appreciated. Delightful host/chef.
