9.0I loved this motel, so cute, nice view from our room upstairs. The staff were so helpful and friendly, we were greeted with milk and chocolate fish on arrival, which was so nice after a bumpy flight to Blenheim. On realizing we were daughter and mother rather than a couple we were immediately offered an upgrade in room to give us our own space, which worked out so nicely. The second morning the staff greeted us outside and offered to get us a bucket of water to defrost our car window and everyday when we arrived back, our room had been serviced beautifully, fresh towels, fresh bin liner, and a tidy bench, and with it being so cold, I loved the electric blankets on the bed. I totally recommend this place and would definitely return if we're back in the area.
− If I was gonna be absolutely picky and because I'm a cold person, I would love better heating. That is not to say it wasn't sufficient, but you can't obtain the cosy room temperature I love Nevertheless this is a very small detail that wouldn't deter me from coming.
Absolutely worth it to stay for a night.
