Basic hotel, wonderful town

Arrived 2pm and had to use outside booking facility even though a member of staff was inside the hotel behind a locked door! Staff (male) not very friendly. Basic hotel, good breakfast, 50 minute walk into a beautiful town. The town is stunning with architecture, shops and good food.

Check in was really easy. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Love that the room has a balcony with chairs and a table. The fridge was a nice surprise (there was a little mold in the drain). Room size is ok, I had smalle in Europe and Japan. The bathroom could be a little bit bigger, but the hot water came in fast. Breakfast was great. I love German breads and cheese from all around. Fresh fruit and veggies, plus scrambled eggs. Lots of great add ons (cereal, cakes, yogurts, etc). 24 hour hour gourmet coffee maker. Location was close to the highway and tram is across the street, plus a bus stop around the corner. Several restaurants within 5 minute walk. Attractions are about 15 minute drive. The Marienburg is about a 30 minute walk.

Great Hotel for the price !!!

This hotel is great . The staff is super helpful . Kilian is great ! Gave us a lot of recommendations to go around for dinner. In a really good area . Rooms are awesome . Not big but great for a 1-2 night stay if you’re in the area . Train station across the street and parking is right next door if you’re driving . Would definitely come back

Godt hotel til enkelte overnatninger. Ringe plads til den store bagage til ferien. God morgenbuffet og gratis parkering er værd at bemærke. Det er oplyst at stedet har restaurant, hvilket ikke var tilfældet da vi ankom. Svært at finde spisesteder lige i nærheden.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Came for business, I specifically asked for a room with AC because I am American and didn’t want to fight the heat. The AC in the room didn’t not work nor my boss’s room next to me. Her being German for translation went down to tell the staff and was met with aggression, rudeness and disrespect. The only solution after being treated like garbage was to have a room with no AC which does not solve the issue. The bed is like a rock. The front reception closes which I have never seen. We were locked out the building with several other people and had to call the phone number on the dry erase board. Once someone came to issue new cards it was all of our faults that we must have had the card by our phone….all 6 of us? No…definitely not. There is no customer service. To check out, you put your card in a plastic claw machine, just doesn’t make any sense. Don’t stay here, especially if you’re an American coming to your first time in Germany. Such a horrible, stressful experience.
