Vi (mor, far og søn) fik på forhånd en mail og fortalte om tidspunktet af vores ankomst. Luca var meget hjælpsom og imødekommende, og der er absolut intet at udsætte på servicen. Vi blev dog skuffet over vores lejlighed på øverste sal, fordi alle vinduer sad under øjenhøjde eller højt oppe i taget. De følte derfor virkelig, at man var gået i kloster. Selvom lejligheden var meget rummelig, vejede det ikke op i forhold til det manglende udsigt/lys. Værelserne i stueplan, havde ikke denne ulempe. Mason ligger tæt på motorvej og den landevej, som fører dertil, er meget befærdet. Dette er en stor fordel når man skal køre derfra, men har så den ulempe, at der er meget trafikstøj og det er ikke særligt sikkert/behageligt at gå langs vejen, hvor der køres alt for stærkt. Der er et bord og stole og haven, men pga. støjen er det ikke et særligt behageligt sted at opholde sig. Der er et godt udstyret køkken, og der er kun 5 min. kørsel til supermarkedet. Desuden er der flere gode restauranter i nærheden samt utallige vingårde. Det er nemt at komme til Verona og Vincenza (25min), som begge to er et besøg værd. Der var ikke nogen rigtige gåmulighdeder direkte fra hotellet. Vi havde tre gode dage i området, men ville nok ikke vælge dette hotel, hvis vi kommer tilbage en anden gang.
