Very average property, I won’t be returning.
4.0Location was good for Rokin station. But they are very steep steps upstairs so it’s hard to carry big suitcases.
− So noisy. There was a full band underneath which was very loud. Then the property kept the hallway doors open so you could anyone talking in the lobby or corridors. And then bright lights came through the door cracks around the door. No wardrobe, so drawers to empty your suitcase. No safe for your passport. No hair dryer unless you asked for it.
Good value-for-money budget hotel in a prime location
7.0Good value-for-money budget hotel in a prime location. The reception was pleasant and helpful. The rooms/ en suites were clean and tidy. Honestly, far from the plushest hotel I have stayed in, but if you just need a clean room with a comfortable bed, decent wash facilities in an excellent location, this is for you. Also made friends with the cleaning lady (from the Dominican Republic). She was a ray of sunshine and incredibly helpful. Finally, the stairs - if you know the history of Amsterdam, you will appreciate why there are many narrow houses with steep and tight staircases. Hotel Pagi is a fine example of this.
