6.0Staff friendly and helpful but ruined by the lady that checked me in who was distinctly rude and unhelpful. Property clean and well maintained but terrible ordour in bathroom (self contained0. Had to leave window open in winter and repeatedly spray with body spray when going in. need strong air freshner but better solve the issue causing the strong sewer smell.

8.0Very clean, staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast was feeling and tasty, but the best part is an evening tea with fireplace going . Fireplace room is cosy, with board games, relaxing atmosphere. My youngest son learned how to play chess ( or at least got a taste) . Tea was delicious. Location of the hotel is an extra plus too.
