Our perfect wedding day
10.0We would love to share our experience with this amazing hotel. We had originally booked to get married on the 2nd September 2026. However, my partner was diagnosed with an incurable illness in early July. My partner & I made the decision to bring our special day forward. We liased with Claire, who was our wedding coordinator, and she was able to smoothly rearrange the date in conjunction with availability at the registery office in York. Claire and her team really worked their magic to give us and our loved ones a truly magical and memorable day. Our wedding breakfast room was laid perfectly, the food was delicious and service impeccable. Big shout out as well to Scott, who really looked after us on the big day. Our lovely friends reserved us a suite, and what an experience that was ! Anything less than 2 roll top baths will be a disappointment in the future :) We had the perfect day, and I highly recommend anyone looking to get married to come and see for themselves. So thank you, Claire, Scott, and the entire team for giving us a day we'll always treasure. With love, Chris & Julie Wright

Another perfect stay
10.0We have just returned from another perfect couple of nights at The Hotel Du Vin York. We return regularly and are never dissappointed. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfasts are delicious and there is a good variety, Michelle and team are always friendly and helpful. Faye, Christina and Reception team are very friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. Good parking is very important to us and is available here onsite for an extra charge but well worth it. We can,t fault this hotel and look forward to returning soon.

Child beds are available upon request for an additional charge of GBP 30 per night, to be paid directly with the property.
Limited parking spaces are available for GBP 15 per car, per day. Alternatively, guests are advised to use the Queen Street NCP.
When traveling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of GBP 25 for one dog or GBP 40 for maximum two dogs, per night applies.
