Holiday Inn Omaha Downtown - Waterpark by IHG

Probably wouldn’t stay again but we enjoyed the waterpark.

The waterpark was fun, but definitely dated and not very clean. Enjoyed the free coffee.

− The facility overall was pretty rundown. The waterpark is great but again, run down. The breakfast buffet was a joke, for $15 per person. It should be included in the cost. Hardly any staff around to help out.

We would not recommend.

There was nothing we loved about this hotel. We wanted a hotel with a pool for our kids.

− 1. They gym had all of their treadmills, stair stepper, and elliptical out of order. Nothing worked. 2. The mattresses, pillows and comforters were not very comfortable...woke up with a back ache both days. 3. The pool area pictures online were a lot different than in person. 4. Hotel wasn't very clean. 5. I went to get coffee in the lobby one morning and most of the creamer was gone and lids were empty. Literally dug around under the coffee stand and found lids for myself while the manage was walking around on her phone. 6. The arcade games ate multiple quarters...some of the games worked. 7. The air conditioner was loud. 8. It sounded like someone was running upstairs above our heads until late into the night. We will choose somewhere else next time.

Will never stay there again.

− I was very disappointed. The floors in my room weren't clean. The elevators weren't clean. The guy in the restaurant had to wait on all customers, cook, serve, cash out, and run the yogurt shop. I left at 7:30 the next morning, parked in the front because they wanted to charge me to park in the back. Loading my car the front door was locked had to go through the restaurant to get back into the hotel. One tv in my room was unplugged. The other one the remote didn't work, therefore I had to listen to a spanish station all night never could switch channels. My stay was very uncomfortable. I did take a picture of crumbs left on the side of the table.

Good for a night.

Location was great.

− The property is definitely showing its age. Seems like it needs an upgrade and a deep cleaning in many areas of the property.

Less than desirable. Female at check in was very rude, could not get housekeeping to service our room during multiple night stay, restaurant was understaffed, however he was very friendly, ice cream shop was very over priced. If the staff and housekeeping was more pleasant and willing to help, price is worth it, but when staff is rude and can’t get housekeeping, it just makes it seem like a joke for what you pay.
