8.0We were attending a wedding for the weekend. The owner was away but his stand in Nick went out of his way to make us feel welcome and was very friendly. Breakfast was epic and we could decide on the time. A very cosy and comfortable bed, very quiet road even with a front facing room. It suited our needs very well

10.0I was looking for a quiet place to stop for one night, to break up a long trip back to Wales and could not have found the most perfect place. The guest house is beautiful, the location was peaceful and quiet and the warm welcome from Justin was so nice after a very long day. My room was lovely, very clean, complimentary fresh milk and a bottled water in the small fridge, plus tea/coffee. Justin was a lovely host, made even more so by the fact that he is motorcycle mad, like myself, so the conversation when arriving and at breakfast was just perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend Manston Guest House, it's truly a little hidden gem.

10.0Lovely place to stay with an excellent host. Very quiet and comfortable in the countryside just outside Sturminster Newton. Easy for Shaftesbury and all the surrounding locations of interest.
