Ok this is a review while I m here so if anyone wants to speak to me I’m at room 501 , starting with reception 0 customer service , they always say no to you when asking for help , if you come here for a family holiday better don’t , 0 entertainment during the day , there are 2 ladies carrying a speaker around and that’s about it , they never smile either , so no games such as water polo or other mini sports involving guest at pools or beach , beach is devastating as it is , heavy wind at all times so not so hot while swimming and having fun by the pool , not a customer oriented environment to say the least , the Philippines people are super nice and helpful, and make sure you wake up early to secure your sun bed as otherwise you will have to stand , overall experience 6.5/10

Wonderful Hotel

This is our second visit to Dimitra Beach and it did not fail us in any way. It is such a lovely hotel with a stunning view of the sea overlooking Turkey. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and a total asset to the hotel. We have met some amazing staff at the hotel, a few stood out from the rest from the dining room to the main bar, Adina became our friend and we cannot praise her enough for all her hard work and making the whole holiday memorable.

My partner took us here for my birthday, we stayed for 4 nights and 5 days all inclusive. We have been away many times together long haul but this has been our favourite hotel by far! The staff genuinely cannot do more for you as soon as you sit at a table or by the pool they are fetching you a drink. The room was immaculate and always cleaned, we read the reviews while we were there and could not believe there was one negative review. The sea is beautiful and clear, there are always beds available so no fighting needed, we were offered to extend our stay at a very reasonable price but due to work we were unable and wish we could have. The staff appear to love their job and the service manager is very attentive. We cannot wait to return!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Holiday We’ll Never Forget We’ve just come home from an amazing stay at Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites, and we honestly can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel so welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everyone genuinely seemed to care that we were having the best holiday possible. A very special thank you has to go to George. He was simply fantastic from morning until night and is one of the main reasons our holiday was so memorable. He always had a smile on his face, took the time to chat with us, and made sure we had everything we needed. George is an absolute credit to the hotel. A big thank you as well to Joanne at the Pool Bar. She was always so friendly and welcoming, and it was lovely seeing her every day. Whether we were grabbing a drink or just stopping by for a chat, she always made us smile. Every morning started perfectly thanks to John and his team at the small breakfast restaurant. They worked so hard, always greeted us warmly, and made breakfast such an enjoyable way to start the day. Even when it was busy, nothing was ever too much trouble. In the evenings, Joy at the Main Reception Bar looked after us brilliantly. She was always cheerful, attentive and made every evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. It quickly became our favourite place to finish the day with a drink. The hotel itself is beautiful. One of the things we loved most was that it isn’t an overly large resort. It’s the perfect size—big enough to have everything you need, but small enough to feel peaceful and personal. You never feel like you’re just another room number. Everything is kept incredibly clean, and you can tell the staff take real pride in looking after the hotel. Our room was modern, spotless and cleaned to a very high standard every day. The pools were also immaculate—always crystal clear, well maintained and with plenty of space to relax. The gardens and sea views are stunning and make it such a peaceful place to spend your holiday. The hotel also has its own beach, which is a lovely bonus. It’s a pebble beach, so we’d definitely recommend packing sea shoes, as they make getting in and out of the sea much more comfortable. Once you’re in, the water is beautifully clear and perfect for swimming. Although the hotel feels wonderfully peaceful, it’s also in a great location. Kos Old Town is only around a 15-minute taxi ride away, making it really easy to head in for an afternoon of shopping, sightseeing or an evening meal before returning to the quieter surroundings of the hotel. What really makes this hotel stand out, though, is the people. Every single member of staff we met was friendly, hardworking and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. That level of hospitality is something you don’t always find, and it made all the difference. Thank you to George, Joanne, John and his breakfast team, Joy, and every other member of staff for making our family holiday one we’ll always remember. We’ll definitely be back, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites to anyone visiting Kos!

Disappointment

The beautiful views from the terraces, the very short walk from the bungalows to the sea, and the delicious food are the only things that make this hotel feel like a 5-star resort. Unfortunately, everything else – especially the bungalows – is nowhere near a 5-star standard. I would rate them at no more than 3 stars. The furniture and equipment are old and worn out, the shower leaks and doesn’t close properly, and the overall interior design is outdated and unattractive. This hotel has great potential because of its location and food, but the accommodation is in serious need of renovation. I expected much more from a hotel advertised as 5 stars.

A Truly Outstanding Holiday at Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites We have just returned from the most wonderful stay at Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay special. A huge and very special thank you to George, whose service was simply exceptional morning, noon and night. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he always greeted us with a smile, making us feel like valued guests every single day. George is an absolute credit to the hotel, and his warmth and professionalism made our holiday unforgettable. Not to forget the team behind him also. We’d also like to give a special mention to Joanne at the pool bar, who was always so friendly, attentive and welcoming, making every day by the pool even more enjoyable and fun for the boys. A big thank you as well to John and the entire breakfast team, who started every morning with fantastic service, warm smiles and a genuine willingness to help. The breakfast experience was excellent every day thanks to all of you. And finally, a special thank you to Joy and the bar team, who looked after us brilliantly during the evenings. Whether enjoying a relaxing drink or winding down after a busy day, Joy’s friendly personality and excellent service made every evening even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is absolutely immaculate. The cleanliness throughout the resort is outstanding. Our room was modern, spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean every single day. Housekeeping did an exceptional job, and returning to such a fresh, tidy room each afternoon was a real pleasure. The pool areas are equally impressive—beautifully maintained, crystal clear and always exceptionally clean. The gardens and surrounding grounds are stunning, creating a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere with breathtaking views across the Aegean Sea. It is obvious that everyone at Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites takes enormous pride in their work, and it really shows. Every interaction we had was friendly, professional and welcoming.
