Sehr schöner Urlaub in herrlicher Umgebung.

Wir waren mit unserem Enkel im Hotel. Das Zusatzbett war vorbereitet. Es gab auch für den Jungen einen passenden Bademantel und Hausschuhe. Das Zimmer war zum Markt raus etwas laut aber bei geschlossenen Fenstern war es ganz ruhig. Die Aussicht war aber auch schön. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Obwohl das Hotel ziemlich voll war hat man immer einen guten Platz gefunden. Besonders schön ist der Wellnessbereich in der 4. Etage mit herrlichem Ausblick. Man hätte sogar die Therme in der Nähe noch kostenlos nutzen können, was wir bei dem schönen Wetter gar nicht geschafft haben.

Great picturesque location. Staff at the reception was very friendly and enthusiastic. Rooms are nice, spacious and clean (except for the absence of the aircon). We had a nice view of the city square from our room. Parking at the hotel is 18eur, but we were able to park just in front for 8eur a day but there is an option to park nearby for 8 eur. Guest card gives you discounts or free access to some tourist attractions in the area, which is a nice bonus. The hotel itself looks and feels modern.

− Having no air conditioning in a "superior" room is a real disadvantage - we were lucky, that during our stay the weather was not hot and we could open the windows. The swimming pool area was noisy - some teenagers were throwing a ball, doing cannonball jumps, and ignoring other people asking them to calm down; their parents were not present. Even though there are signs to be quiet and that is a relaxing zone. I wish employees would be more strict on that. We came to the breakfast area 1 hr before the end and a lot of stuff was gone (even white bread was gone and not refilled anymore).

Hotel was beautiful, the terrace restaurant , hotel bar, very nice bartender I visited 3 nights, ticket to the spa/pool and then wellness center close by was wonderful. Breakfast was amazing with so many choices. I was there when the symphony was rehearsing all week and I loved to hear them practicing when I was walking around. Would have loved to stay longer.

− Just little to warm in my room-it was the beginning of a heatwave.

Top Lage des Hotels, direkt an der Elbe und im Zentrum von Bad Schandau. Sehr gutes Frühstück, große Auswahl, alles sehr lecker. Lage des Zimmers zur Elbe hin eigentlich gut, aber nachts bei offenem Fenster laut wegen vorbeifahrender Güterzüge.

Een schitterend hotel. Vriendelijk personeel. Ruime kamer en ondanks geen aanwezigheid van airco was de kamer goed van temperatuur. Zeer uitgebreide ontbijtkeuze. Restaurant (a la carte)was ook heel goed. Een meerwaarde is de gratis gastenkaart waarmee je openbaar vervoer kunt nemen en korting krijgt op verschillende dingen. Ook de gratis toegang tot de thermen (die 200 meter verder liggen) is een pluspunt. Het eigen binnenzwembad en sauna is ook wel leuk bij regenweer.

− We hebben 1 keer het avondbuffet genomen voor 39€/pers . Dit was wel goed maar je verwacht dan wel dat alles van het dessertbuffet nog aanwezig is en dat was niet zo.
