Great location. Excellent design and layout. Extremely helpful late check in and daytime staff throughout. In reception, catering, bar and leisure there were no exceptions to a can do and friendly approach.

A really nice well priced hotel but not too good for a continental breakfast

Really nice room. We had a free upgrade to a Residency room which was very spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean.

− The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It was absolutely fine if you wanted a cooked breakfast but was lacking in choice for a continental breakfast. I would have preferred more high fibre, healthy breakfast cereals and a better choice of fresh fruit. The choice of bread/rolls/pastries was poor.

Great location, but overly Expensive for the level of comfort provided.

Convenience of Location. Immediately adjacent to the University is ideal for visiting family engaged in University courses or, as in our case, being in attendance for the final graduation ceremony. Just a short walk onto campus.

− No AC in the hotel rooms. The temperature in both our booked rooms was excessive and uncomfortable. Windows are wire tethered and impossible to open adequately. We appreciate that the UK has been enjoying a spell of good weather for the last few weeks, but providing a fan doesn't solve the problem, it just turns the room into a Fan oven, instead of an oven. Ability to control temperature is a prerequisite for a hotel star-rating validity. If you don't provide AC, guests can't control the temperature and the Star Rating is inaccurate and invalidated,
