Beautiful hotel in Beautiful Barbados.

Second time South Gap hotel. Absolutely love it. The room we had was on the pool deck looking over the ocean. All the staff are lovely. The lady checking us in asked if we were celebrating anything special. They left balloons and a card in the room for my husband’s birthday. We also received a gift as it was our second visit. The hotel is in a great position near everything. The restaurant /bar is open all day and has a nice menu. The lady who looked after our room deserves a special mention as she was so nice. Can’t wait for next year already booked.

A return to paradise

My wife and I have just spent 2 wonderful weeks at South Gap Hotel. We were return visitors having stayed there at Easter 2025 . Not only did we receive a discounted rate for the return visit but there was also a gift bag waiting for us. This hotel is an absolute gem! It has only 34 rooms so there is no sense of overcrowding and there are always sunbeds available. The decking area is very smart and the pool is a perfect size. We requested the same room as last year and it was no problem at all to secure it. Our room was on the same level as the deck and restaurant areas but felt very secluded. The apartment was spacious with a kitchen area and a large walk in shower. The bedroom was equipped with a very efficient air conditioning unit and the kitchen area had a ceiling fan. At no time did we ever feel too hot. The standard of cleaning was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the fantastic housekeeping team. It was great to see the lovely Lana again! The restaurant and bar area is very spacious and clean and all the team were very polite and helpful. We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food was amazing , especially the cou-cou and flying fish. The reception team are also fantastic and always happy to help out with anything such as booking a taxi or a restaurant table. The location is perfect for venturing out in the Gap where there are lots of good bars and restaurants. The Gap is vibrant but at no time did we hear any noise whilst in the Hotel. The main road is a very short walk away to get on a bus or a ZR and Massy’s supermarket is about a ten minute walk should you want any provisions. All in all this hotel is a real winner and we would never consider staying anywhere else when we return. We felt well looked after and well loved by all the wonderful staff. Thank you South Gap!

− El sistema de reserva. TE ENGAŇAN EN CUANTO AL PAGO. Hicimos una reserva para 4 días y 3 noches, para empezar seleccionas dos y la reserva se hace solo para una persona, TENEIS QUE MANDAR UN MENSAJE. Cuando llegamos ahi, el precio no tenía nada que ver con el que nos salía en booking, puesto que te sale solo el cobro de 2 noches y al llegar al hotel nos cobraron 300 y pico dollars más por la tercera noche (mas de lo que ya se había PAGADO). Además, seleccioné pago en el hotel y me lo cobraron a los pocos días de la reserva en booking. Su justificación fue que ellos te Mandan un mensaje (que no leimos) diciendo lo de la tercera noche así que NO pudimos reclamar nada. TENEDLO EN CUENTA!!
