Nice room and great surroundings, but disappointing service
6.0The room was pleasant, clean and comfortable, with good beds. Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing and fell well below the standard we would normally expect from a hotel.
− Unfortunately, the staff’s level of hospitality left a great deal to be desired. At check-in, we were received in a rather distant and impersonal manner. The lady at the front desk appeared to have far too much on her plate and seemed visibly frustrated. Our experience in the restaurant was equally disappointing. The service staff showed little interest, and there was hardly any personal interaction. Simple questions such as “How are you?”, “Where are you visiting from?” or “Was everything to your satisfaction?” should be a standard part of good hospitality. Not once during our stay were we asked whether we were enjoying ourselves. Nor were we given any information about the hotel, its facilities or the surrounding area. Friendly, attentive and genuinely engaged staff are essential to making guests feel welcome and turning a hotel stay into a positive experience.

− Het ontbijt was verschrikkelijk, vliegen speelden op het beleg. En ondanks dat het ontbijt tot 10 uur duurde, was er om kwart voor 10 al geen personeel meer.
