A real 5 star stay on grounds that really identified with where we are - the Hunter Valley.
8.0Loved the grounds, the property itself was impressive and we had all the facilities that anyone would want. Our room (which we received an upgrade so thank you) was large, great walk out balcony and awesome views. Dinner matched the quality of the hotel as did breakfast.
− Curtains needed attending to - tatty and not running smoothly. I think a property of your standard should provide robes. I do not think you should be leveraging the old "save the climate" crap to try and cut down on housekeeping, You are a full service hotel - not an AirBnb - so embrace it. And I think the Pool Table in the formal lounge area is a tad jarring. Almost seems like the room has an identity problem - is it a formal space or more of a pub feel.

9.0Lovely welcome by Hunter on Reception. Beautifully appointed room. Great view from our balcony. Our son loved feeding the pigs after breakfast. Close to the amazing Bistro Molines and very good wineries.
