A very bad experience that will never be repeated.

− The host sent the details late and was not kind—in fact, very rude. When I entered the house, there was an unpleasant smell. My room looked clean, but there was a large pile of rubbish swept into the corner. The bathtub was also dirty. The washing machine requires payment to use, and it was very mouldy, so I decided not to use it. I would never stay in that house again.

− Location not bad, however its a house on a council estate. This place was dirty untidy and bedroom awful. My brothers bed collapsed and my other brothers room stains and marks on the bedsheets. Kitchen untidy. Fridge left with smelly out of date food.

− No lights in bathroom, no cooker. Mouldy food, weeks loads of rubbish on side, bed frame not even screwed in.
Appalling. I went elsewhere for the second night.

− Everything. I am sending a letter to Booking.com with photos. You need to take this off your listings because it does not represent itself accurately. Here, I simply say a Lodge is not a house in a Terrace of 1970s build.

5.0The Taxi driver said he wouldn't leave us til he contacted my daughter in Letchworth.It looked awful from the outside he thought it couldn't be a place called Denby lodge .Inside appeared all right but heater hanging on the wall and the shared toilet couldn't have the heat turned off.Shared Shower we put our mats from our daughter on the floor.Not worth the money .Needs up grading.and one towel only.No contact with people.apart from text.No welcome.The code had been changed from the one we had .They changed it.grass was burnt and a mess of cigarette buts and weeds around .Come on you don't expect this standard.regards Norma and Edje
