7.0Friendly and helpful staff. The pool was amazing on a hot day. Clean and tidy room.
− The bed was awful! Very soft! The air con unit was right next to the bed, blasting cold air directly onto the bed and we weren't able to adjust the fan strength. The room and bathroom could do with an upgrade. Overall the friendliness of the staff and locality of the motel were plus points.
Great stay
8.0This place is great! We had a spacious clean suite with aircon, breakfast daily and comfy beds. The only thing we could have used was a hot tub and a airconditoner in the bedroom so we didn’t need to keep the door open.
Enjoyed the convenient location and surprisingly very quite.
7.0The staff were very friendly , top notch . Location was great , room size was perfect for my family, breakfast was your basic, cereal, bagels, yogurt etc but was satisfying. The kids loved the pool and loved the chairs out on the lawn for relaxing.
− My only complaints are that the beds were very uncomfortable and the room was outdated. The rooms were pretty clean ,however the walls could use a washing. A bit over priced for a 3 night stay
A Hidden Gem
10.0A hidden gem! We needed a last minute room in Kelowna on a Saturday night — not an easy feat. We found a room at the Recreation Inn for a great price and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised with how friendly the staff was, great parking, cutest grounds with BBQs and games, and the pool was super clean with the perfect amount of sunshine. The convenience store behind the motel was extremely convenient, too. The room was a one bedroom with another queen and a full kitchen. It was older, but had some updates, and it was very clean. We travel to Kelowna 4-5 times per year and usually stay at The Royal. Honestly, for the price we paid at the Recreation Inn with the same amenities — it might be our new fave place for summer trips. If you’re not fussy about new and shiny, but want somewhere cozy and clean — don’t hesitate!
