Bayeux Campanille Hotel a good overnight stop.
9.0For us, and our nights stay it was absolutely fine. It is situated about fifteen minutes walk from the centre of Bayeux. So for us the location is good and we have stayed here on several occasions and find that the Campanille model is a good fit for a night or two. Beds are certainly comfortable although with Bayeux being a popular and very picturesque town ( currently no Tapestry though) it is well used and perhaps could do with a slight makeover, but very difficult to do with a constantly used hotel.
− We wouldn't say that there are things we didn't like as we know what we are getting with the Campanille model. There are always going to be something that can be improved on and if there is one thing it perhaps is decor , which, in a well used hotel, you will be constantly up against. Overrall though, a good nights sleep, a good shower and a good breakfast (we didn't eat in) but we have most certainly had a reasonable evening meal too.
If you plan to arrive at the Campanile after 23:00 please contact the hotel in advance. In the case of late arrival the hotel may resell your room.
Reception is closed from 23:00 to 6:30.
A deposit may be required at the property.
