Totally enjoyed my stay!
10.0Breakfast was fantastic! Liked the cheese, crackers, cookies and wine. The staff is wonderful! We were able to walk for shopping and restaurants but it is a hike.
− Would be nice to have parking on the same side of the street.

10.0As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more special. Cheese, crackers, wine, dark chocolate and chocolate chip cookies greeted us. The following days breakfast was excellent. I was very pleased that the current proprietor would listen to my history and share what he knew. It was once owned as a family venture, bakery/general store/boarding house and is again being well taken care of by another family. When I return to do further research I will again stay there and check out the ghost that will not let the basement door stay closed. Thank you to Farmers Guest House for making our stay so special.

10.0We wanted to try some place new for a romantic weekend and Farmers Guest House was perfect! Our room, The Charlotte, was warm and comfortable for relaxation. The breakfast that was made fresh every morning was by far the best we have ever had. The little extras like wine time with cheese and crackers made the weekend even better. We are already planning on going back. If I could have given this a 10 star review, I would have! You will not regret spending time at the Farmers Guest House!!

9.0Mark, Luke, and Elaine were incredibly hospitable. We felt totally welcome and were very well taken care of. And the breakfasts were hand made, well presented and absolutely delicious! We will be back!
− Completely outside of their control was construction on Hwy20. But Mark was waiting outside and pointed us to Luke, who directed us to a parking spot and carried our bags. Their attention more than made up for the minimal inconvenience. Were within walking distance to downtown so we left the car in the same spot until we checked out
