Beautifully Relaxing Stay
10.0We stayed two night and wished we had more time to stay longer. The Parlor Bar and porch were relaxing and provided a place to enjoy light snacks and drinks while taking in the beautiful ocean breeze. The staff were able to assist us with all our needs and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The rooms are well appointed and tastefully decorated. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast croissants were amazingly fresh and paired with the most delicious coffee ever. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing restful reset.
Classic old New England Inn
6.0The property is a beautiful classic old New England Inn. The common rooms were beautiful and the breakfast was plentiful especially accommodating a gluten free diet. The breakfast hostess who I believe was from Finland(?) was very accommodating, and dining on the veranda overlooking the Atlantic was wonderful. While beautiful, the atmosphere was impersonal. Regarding our room... my wife and I felt cramped, as the room was uncomfortably small. The room was missing a hair dryer which for my wife was an important amenity. I had to borrow one from another guest because the front office wasn't opened and when I called the number as instructed, I got an answering service.
1920's style with a modern twist
10.0I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! Everything was so clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. They made me feel so comfortable, almost like I was staying with family. The hotel has such a cool and different atmosphere. It reminded me of the roaring 20’s with a Great Gatsby style, but it was still peaceful and relaxing. The ocean views were absolutely beautiful and the whole place just had this calm, peaceful feeling.Would definitely stay here again!

10.0Always a relaxing and beautiful moment when we head to the Emerson Inn. Views and drinks on a lovey deck in comfy rocking chairs…what more could you want:)
