On a positive note, Abdul was very helpful, and the housekeeper who serviced our room was consistently polite, efficient and professional. The hotel itself was also very clean, which we appreciated. Overall, although we appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the efforts of certain members of staff, the service and facilities did not meet the standard we expected for the price we paid. Sadly, I would not consider this a true 5-star hotel based on our experience. We left feeling disappointed, particularly as we had paid a premium expecting a much better level of service and attention to detail

− My daughter and I recently stayed at the Nobu Hotel Barcelona for five days. We chose this hotel expecting a luxurious 5-star experience, especially considering the high price we paid for our stay. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of our expectations. Firstly, on Monday evening, at around 9 pm, we went to the bar and restaurant on the ground floor to get something to eat. To our disappointment, we were informed that approximately five or six items on the menu were unavailable and that pizza was not served either. With such limited options available at that time of the evening, we had no choice but to leave the hotel and find somewhere else to eat. We raised a complaint with the hotel, but unfortunately, nothing was done to resolve the issue. Secondly, the bathroom lighting was poorly designed. When getting up in the middle of the night to use the toilet, switching on the bathroom light also meant switching on all the lights in the bedroom. This was very inconvenient and disturbed the other person sleeping in the room. For a hotel claiming to offer a 5-star experience, I would have expected a more thoughtful and practical lighting arrangement.

Nobu hotel Barcelona was exceptional - from the check-in staff, the porters that helped us through the unusual rain downpour, to the Japanese Fine Dining restaurant on 23rd floor. Our waiter Lorenzo, served us very professionally and advised us to try the 6 course meal to taste all the signature dishes. My partner and I were blown away by them all, but the final Black Cod dish - the chef’s secret recipe is one that will last a lifetime 👌🏻 We will never forget our wonderful experience at this Hotel.
